CBD Extraction Process

CBD Extraction Process —

The CBD extraction process is one of the most important things to look for when researching CBD. Unfortunately, it is also one of the most overlooked components. CBD extraction plays a huge role in the quality, flavor, and benefits of CBD products. But how does this happen? In this article, we will highlight our newest CBD extraction process: Sub-Zero.

According to RAD Extraction, “Sub-Zero Extraction involves freezing the plant to around -20 degrees for about 24 hours. The extraction process consists of first, soaking the frozen hemp with frozen Food-Grade, USDA organic sugar cane alcohol. Next, using a centrifuge, the alcohol tincture mixture is separated from the plant. The alcohol tincture mixture now has CBD, other cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids in the alcohol and is filtered to remove any plant particulates. The last step is pumping the alcohol tincture mix through a falling film, heated column. This evaporates off the alcohol and leaves behind the high-quality, ready-to-use full-spectrum extract.

Advantages:

An advantage of this CBD extraction process is that a high-quality hemp plant can become a full spectrum extract without further extractions, which means it likely benefits the most from the entourage effect.

Why? Because the plant components are working together synergistically increasing the beneficial properties provided by the extract. These high-quality full spectrum extracts are a promising choice for therapeutic benefits.

That’s the gist of the process, but the most compelling part is the amazing benefits of Sub-Zero Extraction:

  • Get a concentration of 61-70% CBD
  • Produces a higher quality full-spectrum oil including more minor cannabinoids such as CBA, CBC, CBG, and others. It also has more terpenes, flavonoids and other beneficial Phyto-chemicals present to create the entourage effect.
  • No plant lipids or chlorophyll present
  • The natural terpene profile is preserved

Essentially, Sub-Zero Extraction provides a higher quality full spectrum CBD when coupled with high quality input hemp material. This effective, high-quality extract can be leveraged for a variety of different products.

Whether it’s tinctures, edibles, or topicals, the effective, full spectrum, and entourage effect quality of Sub-Zero CBD extraction process make it ideal for a diverse array of CBD products.”
